We purchased Northern Zandy from Amie Hiebert in 2002. She has become a fixture on the farm and will live the rest of her days with us. Zandy is everything we love about the Quarter Horse breed; she has the conformation, and athleticism we look for. Zandy originally came off the Hayes Ranch in Hanna, Alberta. We visited the ranch several years ago, wanting to see the program we heard so much about, and were very impressed with all the hidden treasures they have out there. They specialize in breeding Quarter Horses from those long ago days, that can halter, become handy ranch horses, and perform/excell in any type of competition. In todays era of specialization, this is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Zandy was a Heritage Circuit show winner in Western Pleasure, English Pleasure, Halter, Showmanship and also won numerous Hi Points. She also tested to C1 in Pony Club, and jumped up to 3 feet!!! We feel Zandy is our hidden treasure and through her get, she will demonstrate the value of old time QH breeding.
