Rocki is the newest addition at our place. We would like to sincerely thank Menke Pleasure Horses for giving us the opportunity to bring this special mare home from Iowa, USA. Rocki will add some pleasure bloodlines to our small but mighty broodmare band. In addition, Rocki will help teach the kids to ride WP and Kata plans on showing her locally this summer. The only way to describe Rocki is SWEET, SWEET, SWEET! She is exceptionally beautiful both on the outside and inside. Already, the kids are handling her and feeling confident in their dealings with her, as she is consistent, gentle and patient. Nothing phases this mare... she is calm and quiet. Rocki is an own daughter to Dirty Rocki, who is consistently on the Leading Sires list for APHA Performance Sires. Not only is Dirty Rocki an APHA Champion, but he has sired APHA, world & congress & honor roll champions, his offspring have emassed over 31, 000 Points!
We are very fortunate that Nicole Gauthier from Laplaine Quarter Horses and Paints agreed to take Rocki on, and to provide lessons for Keestin and Kata in WP and showmanship. In Nicole's capable hands, Rocki is really coming along great. We are very excited about showing her this summer!
