"praise for the sweetness of the red daughter, sprung in completeness of the red sun...."
This filly has the barn name of "Queenie" because she was still wet and already calling to all the horses!!! She is special and she knows it. Strong, beautiful and spririted, this chesnut filly is born to run and we can already see it in her build. On the first morning after she was born, we noticed eagles flying over them, which is a good sign! Queenie is proof in the pudding that her dam is the kind of mare that puts everything she has (and then some) into her babies! The photos below were taken the day of her birth and at 3 days of age. "Queenie" is out of our Rocket Wrangler daughter, Sompin Lika Wrangler and our stallion, Clayboy. She will be eligible for dual AQHA/APHA registration and we are certain she is going to be a big running mare, who is going to excell in rodeo!!
If you are the type of competitor that is not concerned about splashy color and want a excellent prospect who will take you to the pay window, this may be the filly for you! We guarantee this filly has all that it takes for a super bright future in performance!! She has run, agility, she is correct and has the type of disposition that makes her easy to deal with and train. Queenie's paternal half-sister (out of a similar bred dam) is running against NFR horses in the United States and has been winning in the pro circuit for two years now. And her dam is a proven producer of barrel racing horses. Below is a video of Queenie's maternal brother, Sompin Lika Nu Cash:
Queenie is trained to tie, stand and lunge. She has alot of energy but is super affectionate, making her a fun filly to handle. The photos below were taken on June 7th, 2008:
