We wanted to create a space for the horses we have kept for our kids We think these special equines are just born with all the right ingredients coupled with the right handling and training as they age. This page is dedicated to the very special horses that we entrust with our kids. To us, a kids horse knows the difference in age and has that special ability to adjust to the level of rider... To us, a kids horse always has one ear toward our child, making sure they are okay... A true kids horse is a special gift!

Boo is Keestin's horse, and he intends on showing Boo in showmanship and halter, with a goal of doing some WP later in the summer. Boo is a rare horse, he LOVES people, LOVES kids and genuinely wants to be with you. He makes everyone feel special. A very special boy. Lately, Kata has taken a shine to him. He loves little girls.
Boo is out of Clayboy and actually, is a full brother to Clayboys TJ. He is a extreme white Sabino and stands about 15.2hh and weighs approxiamately 1250 pounds. He is a big boy with an even bigger heart. We will be making lots of video of Boo and Keestin, stay tuned...
The video above shows Boo's special gifts! He is a very special boy!
Rocki is the newest addition to our farm. We purchased her from Menke Pleasure Horses in Iowa, USA. After the long haul home, she is still adjusting to a new environment. We decided to breed her to Clayboy early and then Kata can show her in the coming months locally. So far, Rocki has proven to be a sweet mare and we think the right match for our daughter. They will have many days to spend together in the coming months...

"Twist" is our rodeo gelding extraordinaire! We got into raising our own horses because of Twist ~ When he came up to Canada, we first needed a farm for him, then a companion, then another companion ... and thats how it all started! Jay has had Twist with him since he was a teenager. Twist was originally purchased from Bubba Tate from Apache Oklahoma, to be used as a high school rodeo horse in tie-down roping. Since that time, Twist has travelled with Jason from New Mexico, to Arizona, and then on up to Saskatchewan. Jay still competes with Twist in tie-down and team roping. Twist has also taught kids to ride at home, with his gentle laid back nature and smooth easy lope. He is still too much horse for the younger ones in the roping arena - we keep thinking with age he will slow down. But if there is a cow in the building, look out!

Twist is a grandson of Poco Bueno and he knows he is special; out on the farm you couldnt find a more laid back horse, but put him in an arena and you wouldn't recognize him! That is his time to really shine, and at 22 years of age, he still has alot of heart.
