Welcome to our website ~ the internet home of Clayboy!! In the Cree language, Katawasin means "beautiful" and there is no better description for how we feel about our horses. Katawasin Performance Horses is home to our Double Registered AQHA/APHA Champion producer,Clayboy. Clayboy is a consistent producer of solid confirmation, talent and temperament.
Our breeding program is small and centered on producing solid, family orientated performance horses that can compete in a variety of rodeo based disciplines. Clayboy has sired APHA horses that excell in Rodeo, Dressage, Western Pleasure,English Pleasure, Halter, and HUS. He has also sired popular breeding Stallions that offer that same color, temperament and confirmation that Clayboy is so popular for! We want to build on his past successes with a special emphasis on providing offspring that will excell in working cow and rodeo performance. Recently our son has developed an interest in showing WP, so we are now also embarking on a journey in the show circuit. We are very excited about this and also realize we have a busy year ahead of us in juggling showing and rodeo.

Foaling season is now upon us and Clayboys' first 6 of 11 outside foals arrived! We have received their photos and they are stunning!
Clayboy is now dual registered AQHA/APHA!!!!! It was alot of work but more than worth it! So now, all his offspring out of AQHA mares are going to be dual registered, no matter what color they come out. As well, his offspring out of TB mares will be eligible for appendix registration with AQHA and registration with APHA!
We have nominated Clayboy for the Saskatchewan Paint Club Select Sire Futurity for 2008 - so all his 2008 foals will be eligible to compete at this Years Harvest of Colors Show.
We are now getting Rocki (Ms Hotrod Rocki) and Boo (Clayboys Boo) ready for the up and coming show season. Updates will be posted on the kids page. Ms Hotrod Rocki is our new WP mare, hailing from Menke Pleasure Horses in Iowa, USA, and Boo is our own babyboy out of Clayboy. Ms Hotrod Rocki is an own daughter of Dirty Rocki who is not only an APHA Champion but also an APHA, World & Congress & Honor Roll Champion Sire and one of APHA's leading performance & halter sires!!!!!!! Ms Hotrod Rocki is also out of an Investor and Hotrodders Jet Set bred dam. We are looking forward to breeding her to Clayboy and the added bonus is our little girl can ride and compete with her in some local shows.
I will be busy updating some of our photos to the website and once spring hits, I look forward to making some more horse videos for the website. We will be posting updates as all the babies start to arrive in 08.
Congratulations to Talia Humeniuk and Clayboys Target for winning the High Point 13 and under youth award from the Saskpaint Horse Club and getting Reserve High Point youth 10-13 for Zone 10! Check out their video! This pair is unstoppable, and they intend on burning up the show circuit again for 2008.
