***We promote double registered Clayboy Horses that Rodeo and Show!!!

About Us: We are a small farm located in central Saskatchewan ~ our two legged family members include: Jay, Tracey, Keestin, Kata, Tyler and Kashtin. Jay loves to team rope and we also dabble in a bit of showing with the APHA circuit. Outside of her fulltime job, Tracey also does photography, web design and equine videos as a hobby. Our horses have to be versatile because we have so many interests as a family; as a result we have team ropers, show horses, trail horses and young prospects we enjoy working with and watching as they develop. We recently changed our focus from breeding to focussing more on our riding and travelling on the show and rodeo circuit. We are proud of our horses and very proud to say that almost all the horses in our pastures are fully trained under saddle!!! We believe in providing proper professional training and focussing on their talents and placing them in disciplines that are they are most suited for. Jay is talented at training horses but his job takes alot of his time, so we now rely on our friends: Nicole from Laplaine Quarterhorses and Paints and Nannette from Southern Springs Stables, to put the training on our horses. Nicole is a versatile trainer with a talent for show horses and reiners and Nanette's area of expertise is reining and working cow. Our horses are very easy to deal with, have great temperaments and they are versatile. Clayboy was the key; he provided the foundation for everything we do with our horses!

UPDATE: We recently sold Clayboy, however, our family will always ride, compete and promote his beautiful offspring! CLAYBOY HAS BEEN SOLD TO LISA AND JIM AT WIN-HUYNH-RANCH HORSES! Lisa is a Clayboy enthusiast. She purchased Clayboys Boo in 2005 and the following year, we traded Boo back for Clayboys Windyboy, and since that time, Lisa has owned Clayboys Fancy Dancer, Clayboys Sunchild, Clayboys Lil Scamp and Clayboys Classicrerun! Lisa trains and shows her horses in a variety of disciplines and we feel Clayboy is going to be well suited in his new home, because he will continue to offer the best form of versatility in his offspring!!!!

NEWS for July 2010!

Show Season and Roping Season is here!!!! We are proud to announce the birth of our next stallion prospect, our 2010 double registered son of Clayboy out of our favorite mare, Northern Zandy. We call him Biggz and his registered name will be Clayboys Jess Twistin.... and while he has very large hoof prints to follow... we feel for us, Clayboy saved the best for last! We are also very proud to announce the birth of a stunning filly out of My New Yellow Ribbon, who is with her very proud owner, Lisa Huynh from Win-Huynh Ranch! I will be posting new photos on the baby page soon.... stay tuned.... Clayboy also had a beautiful huge colt out of Barb McPhee-Stack's special mare, Mystique.... a few more babies to come ... our own Birdie and Kit (Startips dam) have bagged up now..

Below is a photo of Clayboy's Jess Twistin:

We went to the Spring Show in Lloydminister and the kids rode Boo and Danny. Kata is really clicking with Danny in both English and Western. Keestin has decided to rope off of Boo this summer and we are now preparing Whisky for the showpen!!! We will be adding a few new exciting prospects very soon so we will share their photos when they arrive.

You will notice that for the first time in years we do not have too much on our forsale page.... :-) The Clayboys continue to do so well their popularity never wanes.... Not only are they starting to dominate the youth classes but his sons are now proving themselves as versatile producers.

This big guy below is Starburst Danny, who is our mother approved pee wee packer deluxe!!!!! We are so fortnuate to own the most amazing kids packer with Danny! He continues to amaze us with his work ethic and love for packing the kids around. Danny is a barn favorite and Kata will be showing Danny again for 2010 in Walk/Trot, Showmanship and Halter. Danny is as solid as they come! He is pretty automatic and has a pro work ethic, doesnt get sour and knows his job. He is solid and consistent, never ever tests or lets you down. Watching Danny pack the kids around at the shows, one word comes to mind: professional. He knows his job and he takes it seriously. Below is a photo of Danny and Kata in Saskatoon:

Below is a video of Kata and Danny showing in their first show together!

We are pleased to announce the sale of Classicially Claymade to Laplaine Quarter Horses and Paints. She is in very good hands and will continue to be seasoned this show season as she is going to be one fabulous packer! Congrats to Henry, Nicole, Tyson and Matthew on your newest addition!

Above is a video of Keestin and Clayboys Boo. We are so proud of them, in terms of how close they have become and how much they have improved together. They continue to spend time together and now are beginning to prepare for their big riding debut at the Lloydminister APHA Spring Show in May, 2010. Below is a new video of Boo getting his refresher with Nannette Choquer (isnt he adorable? we just love him!)

NEWSFLASH!!!!! We still have some horses for sale ~ they have been reduced and are selling, so if you are intereted in a horse you can contact us anytime!

And on on final note......

Thought we would share a video of Keestins very first time riding into the showpen with Sasha.... He was extremely nervous that day in NISKU and we will treasure those memories of his first ride in WP Class... note Sasha is the only horse in her class in the snaffle bit as she was only 3 years of age!
